1964 Custom Constellation

A 57-foot 1964 Chris-Craft Constellation cruiser built from wood and powered by twin 9V-71 diesel engines with approximately 2,240 hours of engine time. The boat sleeps up to 14 people through a combination of fixed bunks and convertible seating, making it well-suited for extended cruising or entertaining.

The main salon features a maple drop-leaf table, two swivel chairs, and a sleeper sofa, with electrical panels housed behind sliding wood doors. The galley is equipped with a full-size Hotpoint range, refrigerator and freezer, double sink with disposal, and a four-place dinette. Forward is a V-berth cabin with its own lavatory and two bunks. A second mid-cabin with two bunks and drop-down sofa is accessed via companionway, along with another head. The master cabin aft holds a double bed with storage on both sides, additional closet space, and an ensuite shower and sink. All cabins include electric heating throughout.

The enclosed steering station sits at boarding deck level and opens to a full wet bar with refrigerator and freezer, backed by a three-stool bar and aft lounge. Teak decking covers the main deck and remains in good condition. The boat carries 500 gallons of diesel fuel capacity and 250 gallons of water, with a water heater and emergency diesel power plant in the engine room. An onboard sewage system is installed but has never been used. Current propellers are custom Michigan Wheel units, with spare original props also aboard. Fire extinguishers are distributed throughout. The boat was hauled and bottom-painted 16 months ago and has received regular maintenance since the mid-1980s. New clear-view enclosure panels for the rear are currently in production.
