This 1965 De Vries Lentsch steel motor yacht represents a landmark of classic Dutch yacht building. Originally constructed in Amsterdam, the boat carries the architectural and construction hallmarks the yard is known for: a welded steel hull, full teak decks and superstructure, and a traditional pilothouse profile with covered side decks. At 64 feet with a 16-foot beam, she is a displacement hull designed for comfortable, stable cruising.
The yacht received a comprehensive repower in 2013 with twin John Deere 6068 diesel engines producing 201 horsepower each. Fuel capacity is approximately 1,748 gallons. Mechanical systems include Naiad fin stabilizers, a hydraulic bow thruster, hydraulic windlass, and a 20-kilowatt Northern Lights genset paired with inverter systems for extended anchoring without generator runtime. A 2,000 amp-hour house battery bank at 24VDC supports this capability. Diesel heating comes from multiple sources—Webasto hydronic and forced-air systems plus a Dickinson unit.
Accommodations comprise four sleeping areas: a full-beam aft owner's suite with private head, a VIP stateroom, additional guest cabin, and separate crew quarters. Three heads serve the boat. Two salon areas include an aft space and forward salon with diesel fireplace, while the galley is fully equipped. Teak is maintained throughout the interior.
Electronics and navigation gear reflect modern upgrades: Furuno NavNet chartplotter, radar, and GPS systems; Robertson AP20 autopilot; dual Icom VHF radios; FLIR night vision; and Starlink internet. Additional equipment includes a 13-foot Boston Whaler tender, liferaft, and upper deck crane. Recent work completed in 2024 includes fresh bottom paint and ultrasound hull inspection with steel reinforcement where needed.
