This 1966 Abeking & Rasmussen steel-hulled sailing yacht combines classical design with substantial modern upgrades. The 68-foot hull was built by the renowned German shipyard and underwent comprehensive refit work in 2019. The hull was repainted in Awlgrip Snow White, and the teak deck was re-caulked in 2020. The long keel carries approximately 17,000 kg of lead ballast for stability and seaworthiness.
The yacht features a steel and mahogany deckhouse with a separate mahogany wheelhouse accessed via wide double doors from the middle cockpit. The fully enclosed middle cockpit offers weather protection while maintaining functional deck space. Teak boarding ladder, stainless steel stanchions, and lifelines finish the exterior. A 100 kg main anchor with 100 meters of 16 mm galvanized chain is installed in a starboard recess; a secondary 70 kg anchor is also aboard.
Below deck, the accommodation includes four cabins and four heads. The 2019 refit brought substantial systems upgrades: a new Volvo Penta diesel engine (198 hp) with professionally insulated engine room, new shaft and propeller, updated electrical system (230V/24h), lithium batteries, watermaker, and gas system. Navigation and communication equipment includes radar and satellite systems. The wheelhouse includes television and stereo.
A Grand Marine 370 RIB tender with 15 HP Suzuki outboard from 2020 is included and stores on the foredeck. The yacht holds Germanischer Lloyd 100 A4 classification and is equipped with an upgraded fire system.
