This 1966 Custom Vinette 430 is a welded steel trawler built for serious cruising. At 43 feet with a 14-foot beam, she combines classic lines with proven offshore capability. Twin Nanni diesel engines—each rated at 115 horsepower—were installed in 2012 with ZF marine transmissions, four-blade bronze propellers, and both bow and stern thrusters for confident maneuvering.
The interior is thoughtfully arranged around generous volume. The main salon features a spiral stairwell leading to an upper bridge deck with wet bar and ice maker, while the galley includes a four-burner stove, oven, and dishwasher. Forward is a private cabin with V-berth sleeping two, along with a head and shower. The bridge offers ample seating and opens to an aft sun deck.
Navigation and ship systems are well-equipped: VHF radio, GPS, autopilot, depthsounder with alarm, and fish finder. Power comes from twin diesel generators and substantial battery banks. The boat carries welded steel fuel tanks, automatic bilge pumps, a 12V windlass with 20kg anchor, and a hydraulic steering system. A 30-amp shore power service is installed.
The boat spent most of its life in freshwater and was most recently operated two seasons ago before being hauled and dry-stored. Several items typical of a steel trawler of this age and condition require recommissioning attention before returning to the water, including hull, deck, electrical, and propane systems.
