1966 Morgan 34 Mark I

This 1966 Morgan 34 Mark I is a classic fiberglass cruising sailboat measuring 34 feet overall with a 10.5-foot beam. Hull #5 from Morgan Yachts' production run, she was built for freshwater sailing and has no salt-water exposure history. The boat is powered by an Atomic 4 inboard gasoline engine delivering 30 horsepower, and features a bronze centerboard keel that operates smoothly.

The yacht has undergone extensive structural restoration. Both side decks were stripped of soft spots and rebuilt with structural plywood and fiberglass overlay. The exterior received a fresh coat of Alexseal paint and new non-skid surface. All windows and portlights were updated—the two large side windows are now clear plexiglass, and new opening portlights provide improved ventilation. The electrical system was completely rewired with a new 120V AC breaker panel and updated shore power connections.

Below deck, the interior was fully reimagined with modern vinyl wood-plank flooring, custom-tailored cushions throughout, and high-gloss wood brightwork. The galley features seafoam green vintage-styled appliances and a stainless steel gooseneck faucet over a deep sink. A private head with a marine toilet, waste holding tank, and cold-water vanity sink completes the accommodations.

The boat comes equipped with a substantial sail inventory: the original 1965-1966 mainsail and jib (inspected and patched in good condition) plus nine additional sails. Electronics include a functional speedometer and depth meter. Heavy-duty outdoor cockpit cushions and a winter cover are included, along with custom boarding stairs, dock lines, fenders, anchors, and other gear.
