This 1966 Pearson 32 is a fiberglass sailing yacht designed by Phillip Rhodes during his era of America's Cup design work. The boat's reputation rests on its seaworthy hull form and documented ability to maintain stability and dry decks in heavy offshore conditions. The 32-foot hull carries a 9.58-foot beam and is powered by a rebuilt Kubota 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 20 horsepower.
The boat underwent a comprehensive recondition that included hull stripping and urethane barrier coat application, new mast with internal halyards, rebuilt mast step with a new 5-inch aluminum component, and deck rebuilding at the mast step. All wiring was replaced, and every interior and exterior surface was replaned and refinished. A water tank was removed, reconditioned, and reinstalled alongside new flooring in 2022.
Electronics include a Raymarine autopilot, Standard Horizon CPV 350 chart plotter with VHF radio and fishfinder, and an Airex Marine wind generator. The boat is equipped with a 4-person liferaft, pressure hot-cold water system, and an 8-foot fiberglass lapstrake tender with a 2020 4-horsepower Mercury four-stroke engine.
