About This Yacht
A 1966 Pearson Wanderer, this 30-foot fiberglass coastal cruiser has been substantially upgraded for extended cruising. The boat is fitted with a 27-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, new standing rigging, and four sails in good condition, including one new in 2022. A custom dodger and bimini provide weather protection.
Below deck, the yacht carries a full suite of systems for comfortable cruising: an overhauled diesel heating system, SeaFrost refrigerator, electric and alcohol hybrid stove, hot water heater, and entirely new electrical systems for both 12-volt and 120-volt power. Solar generation includes a 200-watt array with capacity for expansion to 400 watts.
The boat comes with a West Marine RU-3 roll-up dinghy, eight feet in length, equipped with an electric trolling motor, battery, and 50-watt solar panel. The inboard diesel provides a cruising speed of six knots with a maximum speed of seven knots.
