The 1968 Storebro Royal Cruiser 34 is a classic wooden motor yacht built with a solid 21mm African mahogany hull and fiberglass superstructure. Twin Volvo Penta TAMD 40B diesel engines deliver 326 horsepower combined and push the boat to 24–25 knots. The engines are fresh-water cooled and were installed in 1986 with upgraded shafts and propellers matched to the new drivetrain.
The interior layout divides the boat into four sections. The forward cabin holds two longitudinal berths with drawers and storage, and the current owner has fitted inner plywood walls to manage condensation. The saloon and galley sit amidships with two double bench seats that convert into a bed, plus substantial locker and drawer storage throughout. An aft cabin and head round out the sleeping and sanitary arrangements. The boat sleeps six in standard configuration, or eight if the aft cabin top is raised.
The hull is solid African mahogany with a plain finish and was sanded and repainted in May 2024 with marine-grade products. The superstructure is teak over fiberglass. Stainless steel propeller guards are fitted for safety. The boat is registered and ready for use.
