This 1969 Riva Olympic is a classic wooden speedboat built in 1968 and delivered to its first owner in Germany. Measuring 21.5 feet with a 7.4-foot beam, it is powered by an original Crusader V8 engine producing 220 horsepower. The boat reaches speeds up to 40 knots and cruises at 20 knots, making it well-suited for day outings and water sports.
The hull was rebuilt in 2024, while the original planking and deck remain intact and have been restored. The brightwork and stainless steel fittings are polished to a high standard. The upholstery is in excellent condition, and all components are original to the boat, including the characteristic Riva VDO instruments typical of early production models.
The boat comes equipped with a steel-frame bimini top, life jackets, fenders, Riva-embroidered cushions and covers, two anchors, a lifering, a flag staff, a swim ladder, and water-ski tow rope. A new Riva canvas cover and a new fuel tank with the Olympic nameplate and five interlocking rings motif referencing the 1968 Olympics are included.
