1970 Aquasport 222 Center Console

The 1970 Aquasport 222 is a 22-foot fiberglass center console built for serious fishing. Powered by a Suzuki 175-horsepower four-stroke outboard with 310 hours, the engine sits on a 12-inch Atlas jack-plate for adjustable trim and shallow-water operation. The boat runs on gasoline and comes equipped with a dual-axle trailer for transport.

Recent work includes a complete transom rebuild using Coosa composite material, a new console with no wood components, and a full deck sanding with fresh non-skid applied in 2025. Electrical updates consist of a light rewire completed in 2025. The helm features a Simrad flush-mounted chart plotter with a three-in-one transducer and a Power-Pole anchor system for station-keeping.

The boat carries dual house batteries and three dedicated trolling motor batteries with an onboard charger. A 115-thrust, 36-volt trolling motor is installed, though its remote control shows an F fault code. Overall, the boat is in good structural condition with recent upgrades addressing both systems and surfaces.
