The 2200 Bay Ranger is a 22-foot fiberglass sportfish boat powered by a single 200 hp Mercury engine. Built for serious redfish and speckled trout fishing, the design balances performance with practical fishing functionality across its 8.4-foot beam.
The layout maximizes usable space with a smaller console positioned to keep the interior open from bow to stern. Batteries for the center-mounted trolling motor are integrated into the design to maintain balanced weight distribution. The raised bow helps shed water in rough conditions, while a raised anchor locker on the forward deck provides secure storage. Rod storage is integrated throughout the layout, and a cast net storage locker sits just aft of the console.
Working features include an aerated baitwell in the bow for live bait and crabs, and two heads are available onboard. The fold-down console rail allows the boat to fit into garages with standard ceiling heights. Abundant storage compartments serve both fishing and cruising needs, with open working space maintained from the bow through the cockpit.
