This 1971 Morgan 40 Ketch is a fiberglass-hulled offshore ketch built with thick, solid laminate construction and a full keel with skeg-hung rudder. A 54-horsepower Yammer diesel engine fitted in 2014 powers the boat, turning a 17-inch propeller with 1,254 hours logged. The boat reaches a cruising speed of 7.3 knots at 2,000 RPM and carries 60 gallons of fuel.

The rig is set up for offshore cruising with main and genoa sails replaced in 2023 by Precision Sails. The ketch is cutter-rigged with a staysail, running backstays, and reefing lines led back to the cockpit to allow single-handed sail management.
