This 1971 Trumpy 58 is one of the final yachts built by the legendary Trumpy brand. Originally commissioned for a prominent textile industry figure, the boat underwent a comprehensive rebuild from the keel up during 2012–2013. That refit included a new bottom, keel frames and floors, fully rebuilt twin Cummins diesel engines producing 868 horsepower, new generators, tanks, plumbing, wiring, and electrical systems, plus new interior finishes and paint throughout.
The yacht accommodates three cabins and three heads across a warm butternut interior with traditional Trumpy character and style. The semi-displacement design delivers a cruising speed of 16 knots with a maximum speed of 19 knots, balancing efficient fuel consumption with capable performance. At 58 feet long and 15.25 feet of beam, the layout provides spacious and comfortable living spaces suited to extended cruising.
The substantial rebuild work from 2012–2013 addressed the boat's structure, systems, and interior comprehensively. The yacht presents itself as fully operational with no reported deficiencies.
