This 2005 Marquis 59 is a 59-foot motor yacht with fiberglass construction and a beam of 16.5 feet. Powered by twin MTU diesel engines producing 1,650 horsepower combined, the yacht carries the hallmark design of the Marquis-Nuvolari Lenard partnership. The boat accommodates three staterooms and two heads, along with a celebrated flybridge layout and hydraulic swim platform.
The interior has undergone extensive modernization over recent years. The salon and cabins feature updated upholstery, new carpet and wood flooring, LED lighting throughout, new window shades, and contemporary furnishings including dual power recline sofas and a barrel swivel chair. The galley includes new refrigerator and freezer drawers and a new faucet. Both marine heads were replaced in 2023, and a new water heater was installed in 2021.
The engine room reflects a comprehensive maintenance program. The twin MTUs completed annual service in 2026 with new turbos installed and 1,000-hour service completed that same year. Recent work includes new oil coolers, charge air cooler matrices, air filters, and impellers (2021), new rudder shaft seals (2020), new side power bow and stern thrusters (2022), new trim tab pump (2022), and a new Purasan system (2023). House batteries were replaced in 2022.
Additional systems include a 23-kilowatt Kohler generator with underwater exhaust, dual 50-amp retractable shore power cords, Side Power bow and stern thrusters, dual Raymarine GS125 touchscreen chartplotters with autopilot, Intellian satellite television, new AIS system with transmit and receive capability, new 406MHz EPIRB, teak decks, and a recessed motorized television in the hardtop. Navigation and safety equipment, LED lighting, and exterior finishes including bottom paint (2022) and new LED navigation lights (2020) round out the specification.
