The Fisher 30 is a British-built motor sailor with a pilothouse design, one of over 300 built. At 30 feet with a 9.25-foot beam, it combines seaworthy construction with practical layout for extended cruising. The boat features dual steering—wheel steering from the pilothouse and tiller steering from the cockpit, with the tiller included. A Perkins 4108 diesel engine with under 800 hours powers the boat, providing a cruising speed of 5.5 knots and maximum speed of 6.5 knots.
The pilothouse is the boat's defining feature, offering shelter for year-round voyaging in variable weather. Below deck, the layout includes a single head, hot and cold pressure water, diesel and propane cabin heating, and a galley setup suited to extended passages. The fiberglass hull is robust and well-suited to coastal cruising.
Recent work includes a new raw water pump and a PSS dripless shaft seal. Systems on board include a Victron battery charger and inverter, electric windlass, VHF with AIS, autopilot, radar, and single sideband radio. The boat is maintained and ready for use.
