The Morgan Out Island 41 is a center cockpit ketch from 1972, built with a fiberglass hull spanning 41 feet in length and nearly 14 feet across the beam. Power comes from an 85-horsepower Perkins diesel that was completely rebuilt and has logged only 1000 hours since that work was completed.
The boat accommodates two cabins and two heads, with a distinctive "walkover" design that separates the forward and aft living spaces. A hardtop covers the cockpit with solid windows, providing weather protection and comfort underway. The deck and interior have been fitted with solar panels, a 3000-watt inverter, LED lighting throughout, and comprehensive electronics including IP cameras.
The sails were replaced in 2011. The boat carries upgrades from professional marine maintenance and has been actively improved over time. The forward areas are complete and functional. The aft stateroom and aft head are partially finished and require completion work. The boat also lacks a water heater, which remains to be installed.
