The Albin 25 is a Swedish-built pocket trawler, 25 feet long with an 8.5-foot beam and full-displacement hull. Originally built in 1973, this fiberglass boat was substantially refit over five years by its current owner. The diesel engine—a 38-horsepower Westerbeke 38B4 installed in 1995—has approximately 200 hours or less. Recent mechanical work includes new engine mounts, new exhaust system, water pump rebuild, valve adjustment, and head re-torquing. The boat cruises efficiently at around 9 miles per gallon.
The interior features two cabins with good headroom and accommodations for four berths. The refit included new plumbing, new tanks, a new head, new heating system, new electrical system with fresh batteries, a newly refurbished windlass, new appliances, new windows, and new coatings throughout. All interior woodwork was refinished and updated. A hardtop was installed, along with new canvas and a swim platform with restored tender.
Additional systems added during the refit include a bow thruster and new electronics. The boat is outfitted with a dual-axle EZ-Loader trailer, recently serviced with two new tires installed, plus a boat cover.
