1973 Bertram Flybridge Cruiser

A 1973 Bertram 28 Flybridge Cruiser powered by twin 260-horsepower Marine Power 350 cubic inch engines. The boat is built on a fiberglass hull with an 11-foot beam and weighs 12,500 pounds, designed to handle choppy seas comfortably. Twin Borg-Warner transmissions drive 1.25-inch shafts, and the engines run at approximately 2,200 hours. The boat cruises at 20 mph and is equipped with a 165-gallon aluminum fuel tank, Bertram 35 rudders, and separate batteries for each engine plus an isolated guest battery.

The flybridge layout includes a full canvas enclosure and offers room for guests with a spacious deck suitable for fishing. Below, the cabin features a dinette that converts to an additional bunk, an AC/DC refrigerator, a built-in battery charger, and stereo systems on both the bridge and in the cabin. The boat carries a 30-gallon fresh water tank and 15-gallon grey water tank.

Navigation and communication equipment includes Garmin GPS with radar and sonar, a hinged radar arc for hauling, and VHF radio. The fiberglass hull has been maintained throughout its use and the engines are reported running strongly with no issues noted.
