1985 Bayliner Contessa

This 1985 Bayliner Contessa is a 30-foot fiberglass flybridge cruiser with a 10-foot beam. The boat has been actively maintained and upgraded over recent years. In 2022, the Volvo Penta 350 engine was pulled and completely rebuilt, with new risers, manifolds, an Edelbrock intake, and a rebuilt four-barrel carburetor installed at that time. The bottom was repainted in 2024. Most recently, the outdrive was removed and replaced with a remanufactured Volvo Penta 290 Duo Prop, and a new Volvo factory Duo Prop was fitted. The engine hours show 300 total, though only 50 of those have accumulated since the rebuild.

Below deck, the cabin offers flexible sleeping arrangements. A dining table converts to nearly a queen-sized bed, the main salon couch converts to twin berths, and a V-berth forward sleeps two comfortably. The galley includes an induction cooktop, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. The head is equipped with a new Jabsco manual toilet and sink; the shower has been disconnected.

The boat comes with a valid pink slip and includes recent cosmetic refreshment—all exterior upholstery was replaced in 2024. This is a solid, well-maintained cruising boat with a recent significant mechanical overhaul.
