1973 Egg Harbor sportfishermen

This 38.5-foot Egg Harbor sportfisherman was built in 1973 as the first of its class. The fiberglass hull is powered by twin 454-cubic-inch engines producing 375 horsepower each, which were repowered in 2005. A Kohler 7.5-kilowatt generator installed in 2024 supports both shore and onboard charging systems. The boat carries 300 gallons of fuel and 100 gallons of fresh water.

Navigation and fishing electronics include a Simrad autopilot, Raytheon radar, and Raytheon depth and fish finders. Deck equipment encompasses a crane for the dinghy, outriggers, mooring gear, and a plow anchor with 400 feet of line. A fuel flow system monitors consumption underway.

Accommodations include a master stateroom, bunk room, galley with an electric Princess stove, and a head with shower. A 20-gallon hot water heater supplies both 12-volt and engine heat. The interior features custom cabinetry, a cedar closet, wet locker, and a trash compactor. Refrigeration operates on both 12 and 120 volts, and a 4000-watt converter installed recently supports 120-volt systems. The boat meets USCG compliance standards and includes mooring lines and fenders.
