A 1973 Wauquiez Centurion 32, this French-built sailing yacht features a solid fiberglass hull and is powered by a Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engine of 28 horsepower. The boat measures 32 feet in length with a beam of nearly 10 feet and displaces 4–5 tonnes. An aluminium mast with double spreaders and boom from Proctor, fitted in 2001, carries a mainsail and furling genoa, both Neil Pryde Cruise-Plus sails from 2011, plus a spinnaker. Deck hardware includes Lewmar winches and clutches throughout, a teak cockpit with tiller, and an ocean racing mainsheet traveller.
Interior accommodation comprises one cabin with six berths arranged in a convertible saloon, a chart table, one marine head, and a two-burner gas cooker. Navigation equipment includes an Autohelm 2000 autopilot, VHF radio, GPS, radar from 2003, log and speedometer, wind instruments, and electric compass. A Victron battery charger and onboard sound system with radio and CD player complete the setup. A five-person life raft is included.
The boat underwent extensive refit in 2020 at Breskens Yacht Service: new engine installation, replacement of all through-hulls and seacocks, rudder and keel laminate work, new cutlass bearing, electrical system upgrade with new busbar and battery selector switch, engine room insulation renewal, and fresh antifouling. The fuel tank was modified and refitted at that time. In spring 2026 the engine received full service with new filters and oil, cutlass bearing and shaft seal replacement, anodes renewed, and fresh antifouling applied before relaunching.
