The Westsail 32 Cutter is a heavy-displacement bluewater cruiser built in 1973 from fiberglass with a long keel design. Powered by a single Volvo Penta MD 2030 diesel engine of 30 horsepower, this 32-foot yacht measures 11 feet across the beam and is laid out with four sleeping berths. The boat accommodates both solo sailors and couples for extended offshore passages.
The teak decking is less than three years old, as is the bowsprit. Bright work throughout has been recently refinished. The gelcoat shows some light oxidation and fading in places typical of a boat of this age, but the overall condition inside and out is sound. The engine was replaced in 2010. A water maker is included.
