1976 Blackfin Fisherman

This 1976 Blackfin 24 Fisherman is a fiberglass center console built for serious fishing and offshore work. The boat was comprehensively refit around 2012, including new non-skid surfaces, teak covering boards, and fuel tanks. Power comes from a Marine Power 454 fuel-injected engine paired with a Volvo Penta dual-prop outdrive via jackshaft, a setup that improves speed and maneuverability compared to the original configuration. The engine currently shows 515 hours of running time.

The boat cruises at 3200–3500 rpm, achieving approximately 26 mph, with a top speed of 39 mph. Equipment includes a Lewmar 700V windlass with 20 feet of quarter-inch chain and 200 feet of eight-braid line, both controlled from the helm. A saltwater washdown system serves the cockpit and anchor. The boat carries a porta potty, and a thru-hull head fitting is present should you wish to install a conventional marine head in the future.

An open cockpit layout provides working space for fishing. A single fuel tank powers the boat effectively; a port fuel tank was added but will not hold pressure and remains unused. The boat comes with a trailer that has received new brake rotors, calipers, and hubs.
