The C&C 38 is a proven cruising sailboat with clean, functional lines and a reputation for solid performance. This 1976 example features fiberglass construction with a beam of 12 feet, powered by a 35 hp Beta diesel engine.
The interior follows the classic Basic Layout A with a V-berth forward, a head with opposite locker, a salon with opposing settees, and a U-shaped galley. A large quarterberth and navigation station are positioned opposite the galley. The cabin offers good headroom throughout, with teak joinery providing warmth and durability.
Over the last ten years, the boat has received substantial updates including a new engine, new sails, deck hardware, electronics, and solar panels. The deck has been refinished as part of this work. The boat is well-equipped for cruising and has been sailed only on the Great Lakes.
