This 34-foot CHB trawler is a three-cabin fiberglass cruiser built in 1976. Powered by a single Ford Lehman diesel engine producing 120 horsepower, it cruises at 7 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots. The boat spans 12 feet 6 inches across the beam and is designed with the comfortable proportions and seakeeping qualities typical of the trawler type.
The three-cabin layout offers substantial accommodation for extended time aboard. A Wallas diesel heating system provides warmth in colder months. The boat is equipped with an Onan marine diesel generator, Garmin radar with dome and chart plotter, and dual heads—one a composting toilet with urine diverter installed in 2021, and a second RV-style porta-potty in the forward shower room. A nine-foot Livingston dinghy with oars is included.
Recent maintenance and upgrades reflect sustained care. The Ford Lehman engine has received a new starter motor and solenoid (Fall 2024), professional transmission repairs, and a new raw water pump impeller (Spring 2025). New 4-D AGM house and start batteries were installed in Fall 2021. The generator underwent heat exchanger and exhaust system service in August 2025. A professional diver inspected the bottom and installed new zincs most recently in June 2025, with the last full haul-out and paint in August 2019. The anchor windlass received a new foot switch and solenoid in 2020.
Cosmetic and structural work includes new canvas covers over the helm, aft companionway, and forward stateroom skylight, new LED deck lighting, upgraded running lights mounted higher on teak supports, a new stainless-steel ladder to the swim step, and professional teak deck restoration with non-skid surface added in 2018. Interior teak throughout has been recently reconditioned and polished. Windows and cabin structure are reported tight and sound.
