1976 Custom Boathouse

This 80-foot custom boathouse floats on the Columbia River with a 33-foot beam and wooden hull construction. The boat well spans 18 by 70 feet and accommodates vessels up to that size, with roll-up door clearance of 18 feet wide by 21 feet 6 inches high. The structure combines secure boat storage with comfortable living quarters above.

The upstairs living area includes a kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator, plus extensive cabinet storage throughout. Four bathrooms serve the space, with two featuring showers and one including a tub. A washer and dryer are installed for laundry convenience, and two private decks on the upper level provide outdoor space above the waterline.

Built as a custom structure with thoughtful layout and substantial storage capacity, this boathouse was designed for year-round use by active boaters. The wooden construction and practical arrangement of living and storage areas reflect mid-1970s craftsmanship suited to extended waterfront occupation.
