About This Yacht
A 40-foot Taiwan-built trawler with a single Ford Lehman diesel producing 120 horsepower. The boat cruises at 8 knots with a 14-foot beam and fiberglass hull. Dual helm stations and an enclosed fly bridge offer commanding visibility and comfortable control from multiple positions.
Recent work completed in 2024 includes installation of a new 8-kilowatt generator, exhaust system, mixing elbow, and prop shaft. Navigation equipment was upgraded with a new Garmin charplotter and depth sounder. Bottom paint was also refreshed. The engine and hull are reported to be in solid condition.
The boat has been used for extended cruising in the Chesapeake Bay and coastal waters, including overnight trips as far south as Albemarle Sound, demonstrating reliable operation in a range of conditions.
