1976 Tayana 37

The Tayana 37 is a full-keel, heavy-displacement double-ender designed by Robert Perry and built by Ta Yang Yacht Building Co. in Taiwan. With over 600 hulls launched, this class has earned its reputation as a serious offshore cruiser through proven ocean passages and real-world bluewater performance. Structurally sound, the 37-foot yacht features a fiberglass hull and carries a Beta Marine diesel engine of 37.5 horsepower paired with twin alternators.

The interior accommodates one cabin and one head. Equipment includes a Beta BV 1505 diesel engine with engine-mounted compressor supplying Technicold refrigeration, a self-steering wind vane, manual Lewmar 555 windlass, new boom gallows, Seward Force 10 propane stove with two burners and oven, Newmar DC electrical panel with Freedom Heart interface, and Icom ICM56 VHF radio. The yacht's Comfort Ratio of approximately 38.2 and Capsize Ratio of 1.85 reflect the design's excellent offshore motion characteristics and stability parameters.

The hull exterior presents well with fresh paint, though the interior requires significant cosmetic and functional work.
