1977 Custom 485' RoPax Ferry

This 485-foot RoPax ferry was built in 1977 at Italcantieri in Italy and classed with RINA as a *100-A1.1 RoRo Passenger vessel for unlimited navigation. The steel hull measures 148 meters in length with a 25.4-meter beam and 7-meter draft, displacing 12,140 tons. The ship is fully operational and holds current trading certificates.

Passenger and vehicle capacity is substantial: 296 air-conditioned cabins provide 859 berths, with additional seating for up to 2,000 total passengers. The garage deck accommodates 850 linear meters of cargo—equivalent to 510 cars or 394 cars plus 323 lane meters of vehicles. A central stern-mounted ramp measuring 11.1 by 14.8 meters enables vehicle loading.

Two GMT A420.16 diesel engines with eight cylinders each deliver power to twin variable-pitch, four-blade propellers. The vessel achieves a maximum speed of 17.5 knots. Twin variable-pitch bow thrusters provide additional maneuverability. Sperry fin-type stabilizers are fitted. Fuel capacity of 530 cubic meters and gas oil capacity of 269 cubic meters support extended operations, along with 387 cubic meters of fresh water storage and 1,335 cubic meters of ballast capacity.

Onboard services include a 50-seat à la carte restaurant and pizzeria, a 226-seat self-service dining area, and a main bar with 235 seats. An upper-deck bar, piadineria, and kebab station provide additional refreshment options. Pet cabins, a duty-free shop, satellite television, and an indoor smoking lounge round out the passenger amenities.
