The Antares is a 1977 Nautor Swan 411, a 41-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built to the exacting standards of Sparkman & Stephens design. She is powered by a single 47 hp Perkins diesel engine and measures 11.94 feet across the beam.
The yacht accommodates three cabins and offers the classic Swan layout refined over decades of cruising design. Her moderate displacement and intelligent proportions make her a capable performer across the Atlantic and in coastal waters alike.
The boat has been continuously maintained throughout her ownership history. The previous owner, who held her from 1996 onward, undertook extensive cruising including passages to the Bay of Biscay and Portuguese waters, as well as a 2019 voyage from Inverness via the Caledonian Canal to Belfast, Dublin, and the Cornish coast. The current owner has carried forward this commitment to upkeep and has recently completed a series of upgrades since acquisition. She has been regularly used for cruising along the South Coast, West Country, and Channel Islands.
