1995 Bashford BH41

The Bashford Howison 41 is a competitive racing yacht built from fiberglass with E-glass and Kevlar reinforcement. Designed for performance under IRC and ORC rating systems, she combines lightweight construction with practical strength for both racing and cruising. The boat carries a new Lombardini 40 hp diesel engine installed in 2022, rod rigging renewed in 2018, and an extensive sail wardrobe: a North Sails 3DI race set from 2018 comprising mainsail, four genoas, staysail and multiple spinnakers, plus a full cruising set from 2017 with mainsail, genoa and spinnaker. A carbon boom completes the rig.

Accommodation includes three cabins with berths for eight. The forward cabin has a double berth, the aft cabin contains a double plus pipe cots, and the saloon features settees with lee cloths. The galley is equipped with a two-burner gas stove and oven, deep stainless steel sinks and a large refrigerator. A marine head with sink serves the single head compartment. Webasto hot air heating provides comfort throughout.

Navigation systems include recent Garmin instruments with autopilot, dual Raymarine C120w chartplotters and an Icom VHF. Electrical systems comprise 12V and 220V supplies with shore power capability, a charger and three 105 Ah batteries installed recently. The yacht measures 40.88 feet in length with a 12.04-foot beam and a draft of 2.62 meters, displacing 6,585 kilograms.
