A 57-foot steel ketch designed by De Vries Lentsch and built by Van Dam in 1977, this yacht combines traditional Dutch construction with robust long-range capability. The ketch rig provides flexibility in all weather, while her heavy steel hull and elegant proportions reflect the enduring design principles of her era. Teak decks and teak-finished superstructure give the yacht a warm, classic character throughout.
Below deck, the saloon is bright and open, with large insulated windows set in stainless-steel frames and a fixed windscreen forward. The layout includes a navigation station to starboard and galley to port, with U-shaped and straight sofas flanking the space. The master cabin to port contains a double berth, substantial wardrobe space, and storage. Forward of the saloon, a passageway bunk and V-berth provide additional sleeping berths, while the head has been fully refurbished with a tiled shower. A dedicated workbench area aft of the companionway offers excellent access to technical systems and generous storage.
A Volvo Penta D5A-B TA diesel engine of 158 horsepower was installed in 2014. The yacht is equipped with a bow thruster, electric windlass, electric genoa winches from Andersen, and Selden Mast furling systems on both the headstay and cutterstay. Navigation systems include Raymarine instruments with radar and AIS fitted in 2012. Sails from Kinnevikens Segelmakeri date from 2010 and 2015, and a hardtop with cockpit opening crowns the aft deck. The helm area and aft platform are finished in teak.
