This 1978 Formosa 46 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built from a modified Peterson design. The boat measures 45 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and is powered by a single 80-horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads, making it suitable for extended cruising. Its design prioritizes seaworthiness and has proven capable of extended offshore passages and single-handed sailing.

The boat has undergone significant work over its operational life. Deck repairs, rigging replacement, and mast reinforcement were completed during an earlier refit. Additional upgrades were carried out in Ecuador, New Zealand, and Malaysia to maintain its seagoing capability.
