1984 Irwin 41

The Irwin 41 is a masthead ketch designed with clean, functional lines and a straightforward deck layout that keeps working space clear and uncluttered. The hull measures 45 feet 6 inches overall with a 13-foot 4-inch beam, built in fiberglass. A 62-horsepower Perkins 4-cylinder diesel engine with freshwater cooling provides auxiliary power and security in heavy weather or calm conditions.

Below deck, the accommodation plan centers on two staterooms and two full heads. The aft stateroom features a double berth, cedar-trimmed locker, teak-framed mirror, six drawers, and five storage lockers. Forward is a spacious V-berth with a private entrance to one of the heads, plus hanging locker, drawer bank, and two storage lockers. Both heads include hot water showers, teak-framed mirrors, and generous counter space; the aft head has a built-in clothes hamper and under-sole storage.

The galley is fully enclosed and equipped with a deep double stainless steel sink, LPG gimbaled stove with oven, built-in countertop dish lockers, and overhead cabinets. Throughout the interior, teak joinery and thoughtful storage reflect careful design.
