1978 Hatteras 46 Convertible

This 1978 Hatteras 46 Convertible is a fiberglass convertible yacht built to the high standards the Hatteras name represents. The boat measures 46 feet in length with a 14.5-foot beam, providing the stability and volume classic to the design. Twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 1,070 horsepower give the yacht a cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 21 knots.

Below deck, the layout includes two cabins and two heads, offering comfortable accommodation for extended cruising or entertaining. The convertible configuration provides the flexibility of an open fishing deck forward with full cabin accommodations aft.

The boat underwent a complete refit in March 2025. The twin Detroit Diesels were recently run and show 735 hours on the engines, reflecting the condition of the propulsion system.
