1979 Custom Longline/Tender/Crabber

This 66-foot steel displacement monohull was built in 1979 for serious commercial fishing across multiple fisheries. The whaleback hull design and robust steel construction are engineered for Alaska waters, with proven operating range from Ketchikan to Unimak Pass in the Gulf of Alaska. The boat is equipped for crabbing, longlining, and tendering work with a single Cummins K19 diesel engine (KTA19, 500 HP) driving a 54-inch bronze four-blade prop through a Twin Disc transmission. The engine has 12,539 hours on the meter, installed new in 2000, with keel cooling and dry stainless exhaust. A spare 56-inch bronze prop is included. Fuel consumption runs approximately 10 gallons per hour at cruising speed of 9 knots.

The working deck carries a 24-inch Kolestrand longline hauler with Morse controls, a longline house, and a Transvac fish pump for tendering. A 26-ton Cold Seas RSW (refrigerated seawater) system installed in 2022 supports fish preservation. Fishing capacity is approximately 110,000 salmon. The vessel includes 100 skates of longline gear in very new condition and 200 black cod slinky pots; additional crab and slinky pot inventory is available separately.

Power generation is provided by a 45-kilowatt John Deere generator with 35,000 hours and a 65-kilowatt John Deere generator that is new. Sixteen anchors are aboard. The transmission includes a 20-foot-4-inch stainless steel shaft with intermediate shaft. A 4-door trilogy was installed in 2022.
