1979 Endeavour Sloop

The 1979 Endeavour is a 37-foot fiberglass sloop built for serious cruising. She carries a single Yanmar diesel of 53 horsepower, repowered in 2007, and maintains a cruising speed of 7 knots. Her teak brightwork is well-maintained throughout, and the hull and deck are finished in Awlgrip. A custom hardtop dodger with removable Lexan windows and an Eisenglas center windshield provides weather protection, along with a brand new bimini.

The interior follows a Plan B layout with a V-berth forward, a head, a chart table, and a galley aft with a quarter berth. The central saloon features a drop-down teak table that stows against the wall, seating six when extended. The galley is equipped with a double sink, pump water system, Adler-Barber refrigeration, and a separate icebox. An Origo stainless steel alcohol stove with oven and a built-in AC system complete the accommodations. All Sunbrella bunk and settee cushions feature 6-inch foam mattresses, and custom cabinetry provides ample storage below deck.

Recent updates include a brand new head and unused waste plumbing with holding tank. Sails are newer and in excellent condition, with Harken roller furling on the headsail. Stainless steel portholes, removable dinghy davits, and custom Sunbrella handrail and hatch covers are fitted throughout. With a draft of 4 feet 6 inches and a beam of 12 feet, this sloop is suited for both shallow-water cruising and extended passages.
