This 1933 Frank M. Weeks cruiser is a 38-foot wooden classic powered by a 125 hp Yanmar diesel engine. The boat cruises comfortably at 8 knots with a maximum speed of 14 knots. Broward Yachts carried out a comprehensive restoration in 2008, which included installation of a new transom, stainless steel keel shoe, updated electrical and plumbing systems, air conditioning, a 3.5kw generator, and replacement soft goods. The teak decks and mahogany deck boxes are original to the design aesthetic.
The single cabin layout provides practical accommodation. The galley to starboard includes a stove and AC/DC refrigerator. A head occupies the port side forward. The main cabin features port and starboard couches that double as bunks, and a wooden table with folding wings that accommodates six. Forward is a V-berth with a cushioned fill option that creates a larger single bed.
The boat currently requires attention: full varnish and paint work, and hull plank repairs are needed. It is currently hauled out of the water on blocks.
