1979 Hunter Cherubini

This 1979 Hunter Cherubini is a 37-foot cutter-rigged sailing yacht built in fiberglass. Designed by Cherubini, the boat is outfitted with a Yanmar diesel engine producing 25 horsepower and capable of cruising at 7 knots. The engine has logged only 2,400 hours and features a high-output 80-amp alternator, along with a new drive shaft, packing, and cutlass bearing.

The yacht has undergone substantial upgrades including a new mainsail, reconditioned headsail, fresh running rigging, and new masthead sheaves. The cockpit is fitted with new canvas for full enclosure. Navigation and communication equipment includes a Garmin chartplotter, autopilot, and VHF radio with repeater mounted by the helm.

Below deck, the galley is equipped with a three-burner stove and oven, plus a 2.5-cubic-foot refrigerator with freezer. A West Marine 10-foot tender with a 2.5-horsepower four-stroke outboard is included. The yacht was last surveyed in 2018 for insurance purposes.
