1979 J Boats J/30

A 1979 J/30 designed by Rod Johnstone, this 30-foot fiberglass sloop represents a milestone in racer-cruiser development. The design combines offshore capability with responsive sailing characteristics and has maintained a strong one-design racing following for over four decades. The hull is well-balanced and built for sustained performance under a range of conditions.

Powered by a 15 hp Yanmar diesel engine, the boat is equipped for cruising and day sailing. The beam of 11.18 feet provides good stability and interior volume typical of the design.

The boat has been maintained with a long list of updates and regular care. The hull shows well with recent waxing and detailing work. A survey is available upon request.
