1985 CS 30

This 1985 CS 30 is a fiberglass sloop built for coastal cruising, combining proven Canadian construction with practical sail handling and interior comfort. At 30 feet with a 10-foot beam, she offers a stable platform for weekend getaways and extended time on the water. The boat runs on a Volvo Penta 18-horsepower diesel inboard engine.

Recent upgrades enhance her sailing capability: new running rigging and Spinlock clutches were installed in 2025, and the sail plan includes a furling genoa, mainsail, and asymmetrical spinnaker. An autopilot and self-tailing winches make her manageable to sail. On deck, a bimini and dodger provide weather protection, along with BBQ, cockpit cushions, and a refinished teak table.

The interior features teak and holly flooring throughout, with a forward cabin and aft cabin each sleeping two, plus convertible salon seating. The galley is fitted with a two-burner Force 10 propane stove, stainless sink, and 12V/120V ice box. The head has a manual flush toilet and shower. AGM house batteries were upgraded in 2022 and 2020, with a Pro-Nautic battery charger. The boat includes VHF radio, autopilot, and Sony stereo system.

Freshwater bottom paint was applied in 2026. The fin keel has been repaired following grounding damage. A cradle and inflatable dinghy are included. The boat is 30 feet overall with a 5-foot 6-inch draft and weighs 8,000 pounds.
