1979 Jarvis Newman 46

This 1979 Jarvis Newman 46 is a classic Down East trawler built for serious cruising. The fiberglass hull measures 46 feet in length with a 15-foot beam and is powered by a single Caterpillar diesel engine producing 660 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots.

The yacht features two staterooms and two heads throughout. The main deck includes a full galley, a spacious salon, and two steering stations with operational helms. A fly bridge provides additional outdoor control and seating, while the aft deck is laid with teak and offers generous space. Teak and holly flooring runs throughout the interior.

The Caterpillar 3196 engine was installed in 2000 and has recently been rebuilt, now showing only 60 hours of operation. In 2023, the yacht underwent extensive work and upgrades, bringing it to excellent condition. The boat has cruised the East Coast and Bahamas over its recent years of active use.
