This 1979 Morgan 382 is a Ted Brewer-designed auxiliary sloop built on a fiberglass hull with a cruising fin keel and skeg-mounted rudder. At 38 feet with a 12-foot beam, the boat displaces 17,000 pounds with 6,800 pounds of lead ballast, delivering the stability and offshore capability expected of a traditional cruiser. She carries 667 square feet of sail and is powered by a diesel auxiliary engine.

Below deck, the layout centers on the main cabin with a port-side U-shaped galley featuring a deep double sink, two-burner cooktop with oven, and a traditional icebox. A chart table and navigation center occupy the starboard side with storage forward of an aft double quarter berth. The dinette forward of the galley seats five and converts to a double berth, with a traditional single berth opposite. A spacious enclosed head with sink, manual marine toilet, and separate stand-up shower is positioned just forward, with cabinets and hanging lockers opposite. Forward is a full Vee berth with drawers and storage, fitted with a privacy door.

The cabin showcases varnished mahogany joinery with teak and holly sole work throughout, creating a refined interior. The boat sleeps seven total and offers a wheel helm in the cockpit with traveler and Tee-seat arrangement. Wide side decks and a broad foredeck provide safe working platforms.

The yacht is in very good overall condition. The diesel engine was upgraded to a newer Yammer unit. The boat carries excellent sails. While solid and well-maintained, there remain cosmetic opportunities for personal customization.
