The 1979 Morris Leigh 30 is a fiberglass sailing yacht measuring 30 feet in length with a 9-foot 7-inch beam. As the first Leigh 30 built, she was finished by Loomis Yachts in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The boat is powered by an 18-horsepower Westerbeke diesel engine.
The yacht has been maintained through seasonal use in Maine, with winter storage indoors. Her current and previous owners have invested substantially in upgrades and improvements, much of the work carried out by Front Street Shipyard. Recent updates include a new hull paint job, Awlgrip-finished decks, a stripped and barrier-coated bottom, new standing and running rigging, new sails, and new electronics.
