This 1980 Bertram 58 Convertible has been extensively rebuilt and customized. The two Detroit 12V92 diesel engines produce 1,150 horsepower each and have undergone complete overhauls by an authorized Detroit service center, with approximately 80 hours on one engine and 400 hours on the other. The boat cruises at 11 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots.
The yacht features a custom upper helm with a full walk-around flybridge, custom teak decking, and a completely redesigned interior and exterior. The three-cabin, three-head layout includes four high-end Stidd captain chairs. Climate control is provided by six air conditioning units, while stabilization comes from a SeaKeeper 8000M gyro system. Power management includes dual 21kW and 8kW generators.
Navigation and communication systems comprise a complete Garmin electronics package at both upper and lower helms, a KVH satellite dome, and a new backup camera with display. Onboard systems include a bow thruster, stern thruster, Aquameter water maker, and a full self-contained sanitation system. A full mechanical service has been recently completed, including oil filters, impellers on the main engines and generators, and transmission work.
The fiberglass hull spans 58 feet in length with a 17.75-foot beam, presenting a substantial platform for cruising and entertaining.
