The Dehler Optima 98 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1980, measuring 32 feet in length with a 10-foot beam. She is powered by a Volvo-Penta diesel engine with 29 horsepower and a saildrive drive with a three-blade adjustable propeller.
Since 2022, substantial work has been completed on this boat. The engine was replaced with a new Volvo D1-30, and the standing rigging was renewed. A Seldén boom with single-line reefing, new diesel and water heaters, lithium batteries, and new seacocks have been installed. The interior paneling and bowsprit were also renewed, alongside various other equipment upgrades and repairs.
Navigation and monitoring systems include a Garmin plotter and AIS. The yacht features an aft cabin layout and is equipped for both cruising and longer passages.
