The Freedom Cruising sloop is a 32-foot fiberglass cruiser built to ABS offshore specifications and designed for comfortable passage-making under sail. Single-handed operation or sailing as a couple is straightforward, and the yacht carries a proven design pedigree suited to extended cruising.
The two-cabin layout includes a private enclosed head with hot shower, full galley, and ample storage throughout. A Beta Marine diesel engine of 20 horsepower provides auxiliary power, with a 2020 replacement engine currently installed showing only 115 hours of use. An Espar forced air diesel heater maintains comfort in cooler climates.
Deck systems include an electric Seawolf anchor windlass, Bruce 10-kilogram plow anchor with 50 feet of chain and 250 feet of nylon rode, plus a spare Danforth with its own ground tackle. A 10-foot Walker Bay dinghy with oars facilitates shore visits. The sugar scoop transom design and swim ladder provide safe access to the water. A sturdy dodger, carbon fiber unstayed mast, mooring package with docklines and fenders, and canvas covers for the main and jib complete the setup. The yacht is outfitted with a comprehensive 2023 Raymarine Quantum electronics package for navigation and boat systems.
