This 1980 Island Trader 46 is a fiberglass motor sailer built for stability and extended cruising. Measuring 46 feet in length with a 15-foot beam and 5-foot 6-inch draft, the boat is powered by a single 125 hp Cummins diesel engine that was replaced in 1990 and has logged only 1,907 hours. It reaches a maximum speed of 9 knots and carries 2,000 liters of fuel capacity.
The interior features teak and mahogany finishes throughout, with a full teak deck. The accommodation layout includes four cabins and three heads. The master cabin at the stern has been converted into two smaller cabins, though this can be reversed to restore the original single large cabin configuration. A removable additional wheelhouse is fitted and can be removed as preferred. Two bathrooms each have electric toilets—one connected to a septic system and one with sea discharge—and both include bathtub fixtures.
Equipment includes davits for tender launching, a 9.5 kW Onan generator, three battery chargers, 600 Ah batteries, a 25 kg electric bow anchor with windlass, shore power connection, and two Eberspächer 3.5 heaters. Navigation comprises a Raymarine chartplotter with radar and two steering positions. A Robertson autopilot is fitted but requires servicing. The boat also carries complete older sailing gear, compass, life jackets, rigging, and fenders. Water capacity is 2,000 liters, with approximately 1,000 liters of diesel currently aboard.
The boat receives regular annual maintenance including antifouling, anode replacement, and filter changes. A new canopy is included with the yacht.
