This 1981 Gulfstar 44 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat with a diesel Yanmar engine producing 75 horsepower, installed during a complete repower in 2007. The boat measures 44 feet in length with a 13-foot beam, providing a solid platform for extended cruising.
The interior includes two cabins and two heads. New interior cushions are currently being fabricated. The boat is equipped with a 7-kilowatt Northern Lights generator, which runs on low hours.
Recent upgrades span mechanical and navigational systems: a new raw water pump for air conditioning, a new refrigerator compressor, a new anchor windlass with remote control at the helm, and a rebuilt electric roller motor for the mainsail. Navigation equipment includes a new Raymarine Type 2 autopilot with chain drive and wireless remote added in 2022, plus a new Garmin Radar with an 18-inch radome. The boat carries two recertified propane tanks and includes a gennaker with bag and sock.
