This 41-foot Islander Freeport Ketch was designed by Robert Perry and built in fiberglass. The ketch rig—twin masts that balance easily across a range of wind conditions—gives the yacht strong directional control and flexibility in sail handling. A 50-horsepower Volkswagen diesel engine provides auxiliary power.
The yacht accommodates a small crew or family with two cabins and two heads. Below deck lies a saloon with rich wood finishes, a fully equipped galley, and multiple berths. The cockpit is spacious, suited to both active sailing and relaxed time at anchor. Storage throughout allows for extended provisioning on longer passages.
The boat has undergone substantial upgrades over its life. Exterior photographs were taken in May; interior images and video date to February.
